Stunningly beautiful, miniature, hand painted Indian temple garden and gateway scene.

Amazing attention to detail, a single hair brush must have been used to attain such fine lines, showing wonderful craftmanship.

Measures approx miniature only:

A truly stunning piece for any collector of Indian works of art.

Large Japanese Cloisonne Vase - Meiji Period
Beautiful, large sized Japanese cloisonne vase.

From the Meiji period 1868-1911.

Enamelled with lilies, peonies and song birds on a gold speckled chestnut brown ground. With intricately patterned top and bottom borders. The inside and base are tourquoise and the top and bottom rims have brass mounts.

Condition wise the piece has been well looked after. There is a spot near the base where there has been a knock and the enamel has cracked but there is no loss and a tiny little spot of loss to the widest part of the vase, this only measures 2mm across, it is difficult to spot and in no way detracts from the overall beauty of this piece.

No makers mark.

Measures approx;

16" tall. 40cm.

Lovely, and rare piece, of very good quality. Displays beautifully.
